Kane County (53-52, 18-18) broke through against the Rattlers for five runs in the top of the sixth inning to take the lead.

The Timber Rattlers were down to their last strike twice in the bottom of the ninth inning, but managed to extend the game and get the tying run to the plate.
Clark sent a slicing fly ball to the line in right that looked like it might drop, but Dobson made a diving catch to record the final out of the game.
The final game of the series is Tuesday night. Nelson Hernández (10-6, 4.59) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Timber Rattlers.
