Description: The Akron RubberDucks Food & Beverage Internship will give you a great basis of experience and knowledge on how a ballpark operation runs. Hours will center around Akron RubberDucks game days with additional days of set-up and office hours as needed. Our department is looking for candidates to come in with an open mind, a strong work ethic and a willingness to help in delivering our guests with a top-notch dining experience. Below is some information on what job duties the position entails:

· Oversee concessions operations to ensure that locations are adequately staffed and ready to serve guests

· Work with F&B management team to receive orders at our warehouse and distribute them throughout the building

· Help implement exemplary customer service standards in all facets of our operation

· Work with management team to help answers questions and alleviate concerns from guests during events

· Ensure that all safety & sanitation standards are implemented throughout the ballpark in all food service areas

· Spend time with F&B management team learning everyday duties of their jobs including product ordering, scheduling, forecasting and other key functions of the department

Description: The Akron RubberDucks ticket sales internship will give you an in-depth look at the daily functions of our ticket sales office. This is primarily a game day role with box office responsibilities and occasional office hours comprised of shadowing opportunities basic game day preparations. Below is some information on what to expect:

· Be trained on industry leading ticket sales technology through ProVenue, Score CRM and Microsoft SharePoint

· Assist fans with single game purchases, flex and season ticket exchanges and will call services

· Handling inbound calls regarding single game tickets or general questions on game days

· Work along side our front office staff in our guest services space to answer questions for fans

· Be a part of the game day experience by helping in ticket driven hospitality areas such as our Duck Club and various picnic areas

· Shadow full time Ticket Sales Executives as they walk you through a day-in-the-life (office hours)

· Participate in monthly sales training courses led by the Assistant Director of Sales for the Akron RubberDucks

· Pre-game set up of all points of sale and hospitality spaces

· Other responsibilities as assigned
