One of the ballpark's signature nights is set to return in 2025! Star Wars Night Epsidoe XVI, presented by Alfred State College, is Saturday, May 31 as the Herd takes on the Charlotte Knights with a 6:05 p.m. first pitch from Sahlen Field.
This night is a must-attend for both baseball and Star Wars fans of all ages! Even before the Bisons take the field, fans rush to Sahlen Field to enjoy Fan Costumer Appearances throughout the ballpark's concourse as soon as ballpark gates open. We'll also have commemorative Laser Sword available for purchase, with proceeds to benefit Compass House, while the Bisons players will wear custom-made Star Wars Jerseys (2025 design TBA) as they face the Knights that will be autographed by the players. Jersey Auction/Raffle information is to be announced!
Of course, the night doesn't end until a thrilling Postgame Show that includes one of the largest Fireworks Shows of the season!

This is the way! The Bisons wore Mandalorian & Grogu Jersey at their Star Wars Night game in 2024! Featuring one of Star Wars fans’ favorite duos in the franchise, the Mandalorian Jersey features Mando holding his adopted son Grogu as they continue their journey through the lawless galaxy together. It’s the perfect combination of bounty hunter instinct and knowledge of ‘The Force’ for the 13th different version of the Bisons Star Wars Night Jersey.

We love to see fans get into the spirit of Star Wars night by wearing their favorite t-shirts, hoodies, past jerseys, etc. But please note, ONLY official Lucas Films certified Fan Costumers are allowed to be in full costume.
Fans of all ages with full masks or props guns will not be allowed into Sahlen Field. Plastic laser swords and lightsabers will be allowed in.
Compass House is a not-for-profit agency offering safe shelter and services for runaway and homeless youth in Western New York. Founded in 1972, they have a decades-long track record of advocacy in WNY and remain the only shelter and resource center for both male and female runaway and homeless youth ages 12-24 in Erie County.
