The P-Nats will wear their 2005 Potomac Nationals Inaugural Season Jerseys on Friday, August 18th against the Winston-Salem Dash (Chicago White Sox).

The inaugural season jerseys will be available for bidding as part of an on-field jersey auction sponsored by: Weber's Pet Supermarket and Merrick Pet Care. The auction will be open from gate opening (6:00pm) until the end of the 6th inning.
All winners receive their favorite player's autographed jersey with an on-field jersey presentation after the game. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Special Olympics Area 23 of the Rapphannock Region!
Former Washington Nationals' and 2005 P-Nats' LHP Mike O'Connor will also make an appearance at The Pfitz, signing autographs and throwing out a ceremonial first pitch.
O'Connor made 26 starts with the inaugural P-Nats posting an ERA of 3.54 with 158 strikeouts in 167.2 innings pitched. O'Connor went on to make his Major League debut with the Washington Nationals in 2006.
To keep with the 2005 theme, songs and information from that calendar year will be displayed on the outfield jumbo-tron video board. Fans will also receive an inaugural season program that will be passed out on the way into the ballpark complete with 2005 stats and information from the very first Nationals team!
Friday is also Health and Wellness Night at Pfitzner Stadium which is sponsored by: Mary Washington Healthcare.
