Rod Langway Autograph Appearance on Friday, July 13th Added to 2018 Legends Autograph Series, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union

Woodbridge, VA-The Potomac Nationals are excited to announce that former Washington Capitals defenseman Rod Langway has been added to the 2018 Legends Autograph Series for the 2018 season. The Hall of Famer will appear at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium on Friday, June 13th, as the P-Nats open a series against the Frederick Keys (Baltimore Orioles).
Rod Langway, now part of the eight event Legends Autograph Series, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union, will hold a meet and great autograph session on Washington Capitals Night at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium. All autograph signings are free, and will be available for fans on a first-come, first-served basis. The autograph session will begin as soon as gates are open for Friday's game. Rod Langway will also throw out a first pitch prior to the game.

he Washington Capitals legend played professionally for 16 seasons, 11 of which with Washington. The stalwart defender was known as the "Secretary of Defense". Langway was awarded the Norris Trophy, the National Hockey League's award for top defensemen, twice in his career (1982-83, 1983-84). Langway was also named to two postseason All-Star First Teams and one Second Team during his illustrious career.
Prior to his time with Washington, Langway won the Stanley Cup in 1979 as a member of the Montreal Canadians. The Washington Capitals retired Langway's jersey number (#5) on November, 26th 1997. Langway was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 1999 and the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002.
