Greensboro Grasshoppers Front Office

Donald Moore spent 22 years as President and General Manager of the Greensboro Grasshoppers, and currently serves as the team’s President Emeritus

Under his leadership, the team was one of the most successful franchises in minor league baseball. He and his staff won numerous awards since the team relocated to First National Bank Field in 2005, including six General Manager of the Year Awards, six South Atlantic League Club Merit Awards, and three Community Service Awards. In 2008 and 2021, Baseball America recognized the Grasshoppers as the Most Outstanding Single-A Organization in the country. During his tenure the Grasshoppers organization has donated over $4 Million to local charities. In 2018 Donald created the Babe and Yogi Scholarship Fund at the NC State School of Veterinary Medicine, which is given annually to a vet school student from Guilford County. He also established the Charlie Harville Memorial Scholarship through the Grasshoppers, and since 2003, over 80 local students have benefited from this award.

Moore has received several civic awards, including Father of the Year, the Elaine Ernest Leadership Award, and Unsung Community Hero Award. He was inducted into the Guilford County Sports Hall of Fame in 2010, the South Atlantic League Hall of Fame in 2018, and the Page High School Sports Hall of Fame this year. In September, 2023 Governor Roy Cooper bestowed Moore with the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the highest civilian honor in the State, for his significant contributions to his community through exemplary service and outstanding contributions.

Through his volunteer work with the Greensboro Sports Council, he chaired the Pizza Hut Invitational for five years and helped grow it into the largest, most successful high school basketball tournament in North Carolina. The Bill Lee Scholarship was created by Donald in 2001 and since then 88 local student-athletes have received this award.

He also was a founding member of the North Carolina Association of Professional Baseball Teams and currently serves as Past Chairman of that organization.

Moore has been involved with numerous local boards including the First National Bank Advisory Board, The First Tee of the Triad, The Greensboro Sports Foundation, the Guilford Merchants Association, The Bryan YMCA Board, The Greensboro Sports Council, and the Bryan Park Commission and is a past President of the Greensboro Sports Council. He also coached local youth sports teams for over twenty years, and his 1999 14-U Greensboro Warriors were the National Invitational Basketball Champions.

Donald is a graduate of Page High School and NC State University. He and his wife Kim have two grown children, Allison and Donald, Jr., and two black Labrador retrievers, Little Jackie Robinson and Willie Mae Mays.

Tim enters his 21st year with the Grasshoppers and proudly serves as the General Manager.

Tim is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, where he earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. While at A&T, he played baseball for three years as a left-handed pitcher and is a proud supporter of the Aggie Baseball Alumni Association.

Todd is entering his 19th season with the Grasshoppers. A native of Van Meter, Iowa, Todd graduated from the Iowa State University - College of Business with a degree in Marketing.

As the Director of Sales, he coordinates season tickets and sponsorships, as well as organizes corporate events, church outings, and family celebrations.

Todd currently resides in Greensboro with his wife Maria, son Mason, daughter Isabella and their two dogs, Dottie and Thunder.

Brad is entering his sixth season in professional baseball and Grasshoppers. He is the current Chief Financial Officer and previously worked for Deloitte as an external auditor. He worked on the audits of publicly traded companies throughout South Florida. Brad has been a baseball fan since he was young, playing baseball from the time he was old enough for t-ball all the way through high school. His goal has always been to use his finance and accounting background to work in professional baseball.

Originally from West Palm Beach, FL, Brad graduated from Florida State University with degrees in Finance and Accounting. Brad is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida. His favorite movie of all time is Remember the Titans. Some of Brad's more exciting memories include skydiving in Miami Beach, Skiing in the Swiss Alps, mountain climbing in Spain and surfing in Hawaii. Brad also has a goal to visit every Major League ballpark and so far has been to 21 of the 30 MLB ballparks.

Anthony enters his fourth season with the Grasshoppers as Assistant Groundskeeper and fifth season in professional sports. Prior to joining the Grasshoppers, Anthony spent one season with FC Dallas as an intern working with their Stadium and Complex Operations.

Born and raised in Greensboro, Anthony attended Elon University where he earned an undergraduate degree in Sport and Event Management. Anthony's two favorite sports are baseball and soccer, and his two favorite professional teams are the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool F.C. In his spare Anthony loves watching movies and plenty of TV shows.

Erich enters his 13th season with the Grasshoppers and 16th season overall in professional baseball. Prior to joining the Grasshoppers, Erich spent three seasons with the Frisco RoughRiders.

Erich was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati and University of Oregon.

Dylan is entering his sixth season with the Grasshoppers, and his third season as a full time employee.

He was proudly born and raised in Greensboro, where he graduated from Grimsley High School. Dylan attended Guilford College where he played three years on the Men's Soccer team and graduated with a degree in Sport Management. In his free time, Dylan enjoys supporting the Carolina sports teams including the Panthers, Hurricanes, Hornets, and the NC State Wolfpack.

Stephen enters his ninth season with the Grasshoppers, and second as the Director of Promotions and Sponsorship Services. Previously he has worked as a group sales executive with the Hickory Crawdads and was a ticket sales intern with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

Originally from Kinston North Carolina, Stephen has lived all over the country and attended East Carolina University where he majored in sports studies. His favorite sports teams are the LA Angels, Carolina Panthers, Manchester United Football Club, and of course the ECU Pirates.

Tony has been with the Grasshoppers for five seasons now. He started as a game day employee and is currently the Office Administrator/Suite Coordinator.

Tony is a Retired United States Navy Corpsman/Licensed Vocational Nurse. His assignments were in San Diego, Okinawa Japan, San Francisco/Alameda and then back to San Diego. After retiring from the Navy, Tony moved to the Nation's Capital and worked at the Walter Reed Medical Center. He is a native of North Carolina (Rockingham County) and after spending many years in the Capital, he decided to return to North Carolina in order to spend time with his extensive family. Being back home also gave him more of a sense of community, prompting him to join the Grasshoppers Front Office.

Tony's passion is Wellness/Fitness and you can catch him early morning at the local YMCA sharing his knowledge and passion for training and helping others.

Guilford enjoys cheering on the Grasshoppers with his fellow fans. When he is not dancing on top of the dugout, he can often be found polishing the 2011 South Atlantic League trophy. Be sure to stop by and give him a great big high-five!

Miss Babe Ruth served as a Grasshoppers ambassador after retiring at the end of the 2015 season.

For 649 consecutive games she loyally fetched bats and delivered fresh baseballs, even making national news during her farewell season by appearing on NBC Nightly News. The team estimates that Babe delivered over 3,500 baseballs to umpires and retrieved upwards of 4,600 bats in her tenure.

Her popularity has grown immensely over the years, as she has her own statue in front of the ballpark, her own souvenir items, and her own annual baseball card.

After her final Grasshoppers game on September 2, 2015, her ball bucket was donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY.

After a four-month battle with cancer, Miss Babe Ruth passed away peacefully May 18, 2018 at the age of 12.

After a short battle with a malignant sarcoma, Master Yogi Berra passed away peacefully August 17, 2017 at the age of nine.

Always on the heels of his big sister, Miss Babe Ruth, Yogi made his ballpark debut in 2008 at the tender age of 10 weeks. He spent the past several seasons fetching balls and entertaining fans young and old alike!

He proudly holds the distinction of being the first dog to get tossed from a professional baseball game after he was ejected in 2009 for "relieving" himself on the field.

Miss Lou Lou Gehrig perfected her bat-fetching skills by learning from her aunt, Miss Babe Ruth. Lou Lou served as a bat and ball girl alongside Babe from 2012-2015, then by herself through the next 4 seasons.

At just nine years old, Miss Lou Lou Gehrig passed away in October of 2020 after a brief illness. She is survived by her half-sister, Little Jackie Robinson, her Greensboro Grasshoppers front office staff, and millions of Grasshoppers fans she entertained over the years.

Little Jackie Robinson has been with the team since 2018, though not in a bat girl capacity. Jackie prefers to serve as a front office ambassador, and can be found greeting guests daily when she isn't napping in a sunbeam. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with Willie Mae Mays and keeping the young pup in line!

Willie Mae Mays enters her first full season as bat girl and continues to hone her skills daily. Her trainers have deemed her a natural for the position and her co-workers consider her one of the sweetest dogs on the planet. She loves belly rubs and playing with her sister, Little Jackie Robinson, in the office daily!
