Located in the heart of downtown Greensboro, First National Bank Field has been the home of the Greensboro Grasshoppers since opening its gates on April 3, 2005, to a crowd of 8,540 fans for an exhibition game against the then-Florida Marlins. This state-of-the-art stadium features a 30-foot-wide open-air concourse, numerous concession points of sale, the Grandstand outdoor sports bar, a kid-friendly play park, and various amenities to enhance the fan experience.
The stadium's current seating capacity stands at 7,599, including 5,300 chairback seats, 16 luxury suites, and two grass berm and picnic areas. Originally constructed to meet Class AA standards, the stadium was designed with future expansion in mind. In March 2017, it was renamed First National Bank Field.
First National Bank Field is more than just a ballpark—it's a cornerstone for events in Greensboro.
