SUMMARY

The Harrisburg Senators fell to the Bowie Baysox 2-1 Tuesday night at FNB Field. Bowie scored a run in the 3rd inning for an early 1-0 lead, then added another in the 9th inning for insurance, making it 2-0. That run proved to be valuable as the Senators rallied to score in the bottom of the 9th to make it 2-1, but they stranded the tying run at third base and the winning run on second base.

THE BIG PLAYS

With two outs in the top of the 9th inning, Jud Fabian extended the Bowie lead to 2-0 with a solo home run.

FILIBUSTERS

Despite taking the loss, Michael Cuevas turned in a quality start as he allowed just one run in 6.2 innings… Daison Acosta threw a scoreless 8th inning in relief… Andrew Pinckney drove in the lone Senators run with an RBI single in the bottom of the 9th… The Senators’ infield turned three double plays… The Senators were outhit 10-3.
