Wood's day started much like the Indians did out of the gate. He bounced into a fielder's choice his first time up and struck out swinging to end the third.
The Tribe stayed the course, however, scoring one run in the fourth and another in the fifth to make it 7-4. Wood doubled with two outs in the fifth and scored on an error by Clippers first baseman
Indy overcame the deficit for good with a big sixth inning.
