We were so proud to launch the Jersey Shore BlueClaws on October 21st at an iconic Jersey Shore landmark, Convention Hall in Asbury Park. The BlueClaws were joined by local dignitaries, VIPs, and select fans and guests at the event, which kicked off a new era in BlueClaws history!
State Senator Robert Singer presented the BlueClaws with a proclamation declaring October 21st to be Jersey Shore BlueClaws Day.
"As a season ticket holder, I can't wait for the new season to come. I can't wait for the new name, and a lot of great things to happen in the park," he said in presenting the proclamation to BlueClaws Team President Joe Ricciutti.
Dana Lancellotti, Ocean County Director of Business Development and Tourism, represented the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders at the event.
"We have been so appreciative and proud to have the BlueClaws as have one of our premier tourism attractions and local, beloved pastimes. This is a very exciting day and we’re thrilled to see you spread your Claws," she said.
Monmouth County Freeholder Tom Arnone presented the BlueClaws and Team President Joe Ricciutti declaring October 21st as Jersey Shore BlueClaws Day.
"We all know that it’s the Jersey Shore BlueClaws and we are so excited to be able to say, along with all our counterparts, to have a team that represents the Jersey Shore and Monmouth County," he said.
The Jersey Shore BlueClaws are big news! The October 21st unveiling brought out not just local and regional officials and VIPs, but it also made headlines in local, regional, and national publications.
