The Tennessee Smokies beat the Biloxi Shuckers 13-3 on Friday, powered by an eight run ninth inning and a cycle from Moises Ballesteros.

Entering the ninth inning it was a 5-3 Smokies (36-25) lead and Ballesteros was not due up until seven batters hit in front of him. Improbably he came up after the Smokies had recorded six straight hits and the seven Smokies had reached to start the inning. Ballesteros pulled one down the first base line and as it ricocheted around in the corner he headed for third to complete the cycle. He finished the game 4-for-5 with four RBIs.

It was the most runs in an inning for Tennessee, the most runs in a game for Tennessee and the largest margin of victory for Tennessee this season.

Trey Supak (3-1) started and got the win. Bradley Blalock (3-2) started for the Shuckers (24-36) and took the loss.

The two teams will meet again Saturday at 7:05 ET.
