Captains drop game one to TinCaps

The game was paused for a brief, 19-minute rain delay in the bottom of the eighth and, after the tarp was put away, the Captains struck for their first run since the first inning. Cardenas hit a two-out double before the delay and scored after the delay when
Cantillo (6-2) earned the win after holding the Captains to two runs over six innings. The 19-year old lefty and two-time reigning Midwest League Pitcher of the Week struck out eight, walked one and scattered five hits.

The Captains take on Fort Wayne again on Wednesday night. First pitch at Classic Park is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
