The Lehigh Valley IronPigs strive to be active in the local community and support local charitable organizations. We have established the United Federal Credit Union Community Star Award to recognize individuals who go above and beyond to contribute to the local community.

The United Federal Credit Union Community Star Award is open to any person who demonstrates leadership, compassion, dedication and a commitment to make their community a better place! We encourage you to nominate individuals within your organization that demonstrate these qualities. Any person, regardless of age, within the Lehigh Valley is eligible for consideration. This award is an initiative designed to further support our commitment to the community by recognizing and supporting organizations and individuals for their contributions to communities in the Lehigh Valley.

During the IronPigs season, a United Federal Credit Union Community Star Award recipient will be recognized at Coca-Cola Park during a pre-game ceremony on field. Throughout the season five individuals will be selected. Nominations will be accepted throughout the season, with a deadline of June 1st. A panel of judges from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs will review the nominations and notify the winners.
