Hudson was lights-out once again. The righty tossed 8.0 shutout innings, allowing just four hits and four walks, while striking out six batters to lower his ERA to 2.18. Hudson is now 5-2 in his last seven games with a 1.16 ERA since May 1, the best mark in the PCL.
Memphis and Albuquerque will battle in game two of the series tomorrow at 7:35 p.m. The 'Birds will be on the road until June 21 when they return to AutoZone Park for a four-game set against New Orleans.
