MEMPHIS, TN – The Memphis Redbirds continued a six-game road trip with a 10-2 loss to the Durham Bulls at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Saturday night.
In the top of the ninth inning, third baseman Nick Dunn provided the lone Memphis Redbird highlight of the Saturday night loss. Dunn blasted his second career Triple-A home run.
Starting pitcher Sem Robberse tossed 4.0 strong innings in his second start with Memphis. The right-handed pitcher allowed one run on four hits, struck out six batters and walked three. The Redbird bullpen allowed nine runs across the three inning following Robberse’s departure.
The Redbirds (56-57) return to AutoZone Park on Tuesday, August 15 to begin a six-game homestand at 2:05p.m. CDT against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. You can find more information on upcoming promotions at AutoZone Park here.
