MEMPHIS, TN – The Memphis Redbirds continued a 12-game road trip with an 8-7 loss to the Nashville Sounds at First Horizon Park on Saturday night.
Memphis took the lead early thanks to a Moises Gomez home run and a Juan Yepez double. Gomez hit his 29th Home run of the season in the second inning. Yepez drove in four runs and registered his 21st double of 2023 at Triple-A.
Connor Thomas allowed two runs on six hits in 3.2 innings pitched. The left-handed pitcher walked two and struck out two.
