The Rome Braves topped the Lexington Legends 5-1 Tuesday at State Mutual Stadium before 1,197 fans.  

Willie Abreu tripled to score a run and Tyler Nevin added a sacrifice fly RBI in the first inning to give Asheville an early 2-0 lead.

Rome took a 1-0 lead in the fifth on Kurt Hoekstra's run scoring single.
