GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists built a 4-1 lead on the Greensboro Grasshoppers across Thursday night’s first seven innings. HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists continued their fighting mentality Friday night against the Hickory Crawdads. Asheville erased a deficit in the final inning of Game One and came away with a 5-2 victory. The Tourists nearly did it again in Game Two, but came up inches short and fell 4-3.

WINSTON-SALEM- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Winston-Salem Dash 6-5 in 11 innings on Tuesday morning. Asheville never trailed thanks to timely hitting and quality pitching throughout the contest. HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists pitching staff continued their excellent week of action on Saturday night with another noteworthy performance. The Tourists pitchers held the Hickory to a total of three hits, the fewest allowed in a game all season, yet Asheville fell by a final score of 3-2.
Johnson Shows Opposite Field Power in 7-2 Defeat
HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists competed in an Education Day matinee on Thursday against the Hickory Crawdads. Hickory built a 5-0 lead and traded runs with Asheville down the stretch. Ultimately the Tourists fell by a final score of 7-2.
Cyclones Snag Two from the Tourists in Double-Header
BROOKLYN- The Asheville Tourists dropped a pair of contests to the Brooklyn Cyclones on Saturday. The Tourists fell in Game One, 6-2, then came up short in the nightcap, 3-1. Asheville did not hold a lead at any point during the two games.
