Oklahoma City - A four-run seventh inning provided all of the offense the New Orleans Baby Cakes needed for a 4-3 win against the Oklahoma City Dodgers Saturday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The Dodgers built a 2-0 lead and held the Baby Cakes to one hit through six innings before New Orleans broke through the shutout in the seventh inning in front of a crowd of 9,927.
The Baby Cakes sent the Dodgers to a fourth straight loss and their seventh defeat in the last eight games. New Orleans also took a 3-0 lead in the four-game series between the teams.
The Dodgers (49-43) and Baby Cakes played through three scoreless frames Saturday night.
Oklahoma City's
Freeman collected a game-high three hits Saturday, also notching a RBI and scoring a run.
After being held to one hit through six innings by Hale, the Baby Cakes broke through the shutout.
In the seventh inning, New Orleans (38-55) loaded the bases with none out on two walks and a single.

Calhoun went 2-for-4 Saturday and extended his current hitting streak to a season-best nine games. Verdugo doubled in the seventh inning to extend his on-base streak to 34 games. Entering Saturday, Verdugo's on-base streak was the second-longest in Triple-A this season.

Hale (1-2) was charged with the loss for Oklahoma City, allowing three runs (one earned) and two hits over 6.1 innings with three walks and four strikeouts.
