The Bees (59-57) scored two runs in the second inning and still led 2-0 entering the fourth inning when the Dodgers got on the board. OKC started the inning with three straight hits. Rios' RBI single to left field cut the deficit to 2-1. The Dodgers (61-53) still had runners at first and second with none out, and then runners at second and third base with one out, but could not score the tying run.
With the Bees leading, 2-1, and one out in top of the fifth inning, lights throughout Smith's Ballpark went out, resulting in a delay of 24 minutes before they came back on.

With two outs in the top of the eighth inning, Rios swatted a solo home run the opposite way out to left-center field to give the Dodgers their first lead. It was Rios' second homer in three games and his seventh in 27 games since joining the team.
