Monday, July 24
The Squirrels return to The Diamond on Monday with a special Bark in the Park celebration! Calling all K-9s, four-legged friends and pooches to the park for this contest against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals). The first 250 dogs through the gates will be rewarded with a free Flying Squirrels leash thanks to the City of Richmond Department of Public Utilities. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with first pitch at 6:35 p.m. Get your tickets here.

Perhaps the most stylish Tip of the Cap Tuesday to date with our Flying Squirrels Fedora hat giveaway! The first 1,000 fans (15 & up) will receive a free fedora thanks to our friends from CBS 6. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Get your tickets here.

Day baseball & wine slushies? Yes, please! Wine up Wednesday at the Diamond featuring locally sourced wines and wine specials (slushies included) from 11 a.m.-1p.m.. Yeah Baby! Calling all Austin Powers fans Thursday with a special appearance from Verne Troyer a.k.a Mini Me. Visit with the biggest-little star in his first MiLB appearance ever. Also, only a handful of opportunities left in the season to take in Flying Squirrels funn & fireworks! Don't miss these In-Your-Face Fireworks after the game, presented by Steak 'n Shake. A Free Shirt Friday & Happy Hour hits The Diamond starting at 6 p.m. The first 1,000 fans 15 & up will receive a free Flying Squirrels Boulevard to the Bay T-shirt, presented by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Celebrate former Flying Squirrels players' success in the majors with this sleek-looking tee. Happy hour specials with K95 run from 6-8 p.m. Kids run the bases following the game presented by Richmond Family Magazine. Get your tickets here.

Bring your red, white & blue to the ballpark on Saturday for a jam-packed Military Appreciation Night doubleheader. The Flying Squirrels will be wearing specialty patriotic uniforms that will be auctioned off during the game! Proceeds will benefit TAPS program, offering assistance to all those grieving the death of a loved one serving in America's Armed Forces. Super Blast fireworks will follow the games, presented by Veterans United. First contest is scheduled for 5:05 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. . Richmond wraps up the homestand with Washington Redskins Day at The Diamond. Get ready for kickoff with a first pitch from Redskins offensive lineman Morgan Moses. Sunday is also a Kids Club Sunday and the first 1,000 fans (14 & under) will receive a free Nutasha plush doll, thanks to NBC 12. Brunch items available throughout the ballpark! Ask about the all-you-can-eat options. Play catch on the field from 11:15-11:35 before the game thanks to Nesquik. Also, visti with Redskins Cheerleaders who will be on field from 11:15-11:35 a.m. Kids run the bases after the game courtesy of Richmond Family Magazine.
