Thursday, July 4 vs. Bowie Baysox: Independence Day Celebration with Super Blast Fireworks

A Richmond tradition like no other, the Fourth of July at The Diamond features the largest fireworks display of the year. This year marks the 14th consecutive season the Flying Squirrels have sold out the annual Independence Day game.
- Gates open 90 minutes before first pitch and fans are encouraged to arrive to the ballpark early to beat the rush and enjoy a pregame performance by the Batter Up Brass Band.
- Independence Day Celebration and Super Blast Fireworks are presented by Chick-fil-A and Abilene Motor Express.

Friday, July 5 vs. Bowie Baysox: Independence Weekend with In-Your-Face Fireworks

The Flying Squirrels are keeping the Independence Weekend FUNN going all weekend long.
- Stick around after the game for a special Friday fireworks show, up close and inside the fences.
- Catch a pre-game performance from the Flying Squirrels Batter Up Brass Band on the main concourse.
- Enjoy the best Happy Hour in RVA! Sip on $2 domestic drafts from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at all lower concession stands, upper concourse beer carts and the Budweiser Thirsty Acorn. $2 Pepsi fountain sodas are also available at the Papa Johns stand on the main concourse.
