TUESDAY
4:30 p.m. ET – Glendale (CIN, CWS, LAD, PHI, STL) @ Peoria (ATL, MIA, MIL, SD, SEA)
Nobody is scoring in the kinds of bunches this fall like the Desert Dogs, who lead the AFL in runs scored through two weeks of play. They have AFL RBI leader Zyhir Hope (LAD No. 11), prospect Colson Montgomery (MLB No. 37/CWS No. 3), Cardinals' No. 4 prospect Thomas Saggese and several other sluggers swinging well. Meanwhile, the Javelinas are led by AFL home run leader Kemp Alderman (MIA No. 12) and Padres top prospects Ethan Salas (MLB No. 19/SD No. 1) and Leodalis De Vries (MLB No. 28/SD No. 2).
9:30 p.m. ET – Scottsdale (DET, NYM, PIT, SF, TOR) @ Salt River (ARI, COL, MIN, NYY, WSH)
If the AFL MVP Award was given out tomorrow, Scottsdale catcher/infielder Josue Briceño (DET No. 9) might take home the hardware for his outstanding first two weeks on the circuit. He leads the league in slugging and OPS, and he ranks second in hits and homers so far. Salt River has been middle-of-the-pack offensively as a team thus far but features two strong tablesetters in Robert Hassell III (WSH No. 13) and Garrett Martin (Yankees) at the top of the lineup.
9:30 p.m. ET – Mesa (BOS, CHC, LAA, OAK, TB) @ Surprise (BAL, CLE, HOU, KC, TEX)
Guardians No. 2 prospect (MLB No. 41) Chase DeLauter has performed to his liking so far this fall for Surprise, and the Orioles’ Jake Cunningham (outfield) and catcher Creed Willems (BAL No. 22) have been solid contributors for the Saguaros. Meanwhile, Mesa features serious pop behind the plate in backstops Moises Ballesteros (MLB No. 44 /CHC No. 4) and Brooks Brannon (BOS No. 27).
WEDNESDAY
4:30 p.m. ET – Peoria (ATL, MIA, MIL, SD, SEA) @ Scottsdale (DET, NYM, PIT, SF, TOR)
Mets fans may have watched their season end in the NLCS, but they can watch the future of the organization play for Scottsdale, which features New York’s No. 2 (OF/SS Jett Williams), No. 3 (OF Drew Gilbert) and No. 20 (INF Jacob Reimer) prospects on its roster. Meanwhile, Peoria’s stacked roster is getting a boost on both sides of the ball from Brewers No. 17 prospect Luis Lara, who is trying to follow in fellow outfielder Jackson Chourio’s footsteps and reach Milwaukee.
4:30 p.m. ET – Glendale (CIN, CWS, LAD, PHI, STL) @ Mesa (BOS, CHC, LAA, OAK, TB)
Glendale is scoring runs in bunches this fall, but the Desert Dogs also have a secret weapon at the back of the bullpen. Well, maybe Luis Mey isn’t so secret anymore, since the fireballing right-hander (Reds) recorded his first three save opportunities while flashing the hardest velocity of any pitcher in the Fall League. Mesa’s bullpen is no slouch either. The Solar Sox have five different relievers who’ve made at least three appearances and are yet to allow a run.
7:15 p.m. ET – Estrellas vs. Águilas
There are 15 prospects ranked on their organization Top 30 lists playing in winter ball, and three are in this game. Aguilas has Tigers third baseman Eddys Leonard (club No. 29), who has hit 18 homers at Triple-A Toledo over the past two years. Estrellas sports Yankees middle infielder Roderick Arias (club No. 4) and catcher Christian Cerda (D-backs No. 29).
7:15 p.m. ET – Gigantes vs. Escogido
The Gigantes’ roster features Marlins No. 4 prospect Deyvison De Los Santos, who was one of the most productive hitters in the Minor Leagues this season. Also look out for 20-year-old outfielder Raylin Heredia (Phillies No. 30) on the Gigantes. They’ll match up against Escogido, who has Rockies No. 24 prospect Warming Bernabel and Mariners No. 28 prospect Carlos Jimenez providing punch in the lineup.
7:30 p.m. ET – Licey vs. Toros
The Tigres del Licey have four ranked prospects on their roster, more than any other LIDOM club. Their contingent is headlined by D-backs top prospect Jordan Lawlar (No. 9 overall) and Blue Jays No. 2 prospect Orelvis Martinez, giving Licey one of the most talented middle infields in the league.
9:30 p.m. ET – Surprise (BAL, CLE, HOU, KC, TEX) @ Salt River (ARI, COL, MIN, NYY, WSH)
Surprise is still waiting for top-rated prospect Jac Caglianone (No. 17/KC No. 1) to get going, and when he does, that lineup will be dangerous alongside Chase DeLauter (No. 41/CLE No. 2) and others. The Rafters have power in their lineup too with Twins No. 19 prospect Kala’i Rosario, the AFL’s reigning home run derby champion.
THURSDAY
4:30 p.m. ET – Glendale (CIN, CWS, LAD, PHI, STL) @ Salt River (ARI, COL, MIN, NYY, WSH)
Phillies top pitching prospect Andrew Painter (No. 32 overall/PHI No. 2) makes his third start of the fall for Glendale, as he continues to build strength after recovering from Tommy John surgery. Painter has proven health in his first two starts and flashed the high-octane stuff that made him one of the game’s best prospects before his injury, but he’s yet to enjoy a truly dominant outing. Rafters hitters like Tommy Troy (ARI No. 5), Gino Groover (ARI No. 9) and Ryan Rittner (COL No. 12) will try and make sure it stays that way.
4:30 p.m. ET – Scottsdale (DET, NYM, PIT, SF, TOR) @ Mesa (BOS, CHC, LAA, OAK, TB)
Who is hotter than Scottsdale catcher Josue Briceño (DET No. 9) right now? Pretty much no one. Mesa right-hander Grant Kipp (Cubs) has to deal with the reigning AFL Hitter of the Week in the middle of the Scorpions’ order. Right-hander Cale Lansville starts for Scottsdale.
7:00 p.m. ET – Toros vs. Gigantes
The Gigantes have two future NL East rivals anchoring their lineup in Marlins No. 4 prospect Deyvison De Los Santos and Phillies No. 30 prospect Raylin Heredia. De Los Santos led the Minors in home runs and RBIs this season, but cycled through three organizations, eventually landing in Miami's system. He's looking to get reps in this winter with an eye toward more stability next year.
9:30 p.m. ET – Peoria (ATL, MIA, MIL, SD, SEA) @ Surprise (BAL, CLE, HOU, KC, TEX)
The reigning AFL Pitcher of the Week takes the ball for the Saguaros as right-hander Alex Ramos II looks to build on his brilliant first few outings this fall. Ramos is coming off a dominant three-inning performance against Glendale’s high-powered lineup. He’ll face no shortage of talented bats in Peoria's order, which features No. 19 overall prospect Ethan Salas (SD No. 1) and No. 27 Colt Emerson (SEA No. 1).
