The Sacramento River Cats were honored with four prestigious medals from Green Operations & Advanced Leadership (GOAL) for their outstanding sustainability efforts during the 2024 season. These awards reflect the team’s dedication to environmental responsibility, social equity, and community-focused partnerships.

The GOAL Medals celebrate excellence in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, with recognition awarded at bronze, silver, and gold levels. The River Cats earned four medals in 2024:

• Bronze Medal: Waste Data Measurement & Reporting
• Bronze Medal: Community Engagement & Participation
• Bronze Medal: Activating Partnerships for Community Impact

These awards were presented during the first annual GOAL Venue & Event All Stars Award Ceremony, a celebration of global best practices in sustainability and venue operations.
