River Cats Renew Partnership with inGame App

Innovative smartphone app provides fans with unique, interactive, in-stadium experience

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - To further enhance the fan experience during games at Raley Field, the Sacramento River Cats have again partnered with inGame App, a smartphone application that offers fans the chance to participate in and win prizes during promotions at River Cats games this summer.

Fans who participate will earn points throughout the season, with prizes given out nightly. The app will keep a running point total for the season, with the Top 20 players on the inGame App Leaderboard winning a River Cats Fantasy Camp Experience, which includes batting practice at Raley Field and other prizes.

Fans will be able to play along at every Thursday through Sunday home game during the 2013 season. Twice per game-during the Heads of State Race in the third inning and another on-field contest-participants will take out their phones, enter an access code provided at the ballpark, and vote on the winners. Fans will be awarded one point just for participating and three points for guessing correctly.

Nightly winners will be awarded prizes including River Cats merchandise, tickets to future games, Jiffy Lube gift cards, and other prizes. Fans can check their cumulative score throughout the season on the leaderboard within the inGame App.

"We can't wait to begin our second season partnering with inGame App," said Greg Coletti, River Cats director of corporate partnerships. "We're always looking for new ways to engage our fans while enhancing the fan experience at Raley Field, and the inGame App is a perfect fit for us."
