Wilkerson made two appearances during the week and allowed just one earned run in 10.1 innings of work. On May 14 at New Orleans the right-hander went 4.1 innings and allowed just one run on four hits while striking out a pair of batters. On Sunday Wilkerson fanned seven Memphis Redbirds over the course of six innings and earned his second win of the season. He allowed just one unearned run and two hits on the day.
In five starts for San Antonio this season Wilkerson is 2-0 with an ERA of 0.68 in 26.2 innings while sporting a WHIP of 0.75. Opponents are batting a mere.152 against him on the year.
