SYRACUSE, NY (July 2, 2023) – Sunday’s game between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and the Syracuse Mets, slated for 6:35 P.M. at NBT Bank Stadium, has been postponed due to inclement weather. The RailRiders and Mets will play a single game Monday as scheduled and will make tonight’s game up at a later date this season.
The RailRiders return to Syracuse in September for the final series of the regular season.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre dropped the first game of the series but has taken a win in each of the last three, including an 8-3 victory on Saturday evening. Monday’s series finale will begin at 6:35.
The RailRiders return to PNC Field to start a six-game homestand on July 4 against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Gates open at 5:30 P.M. Tuesday evening with a giveaway courtesy of the PA Lottery. The series opener will start at 6:35 and, after the final out, an extended version the area’s best holiday fireworks extravaganza will light the sky, presented by the PA Lottery.
