Quad Cities (11-19) took the lead on a pair of solo home runs. Burle Dixon hit a lead-off homer in the second and Dillan Shrum hit a two-out home run in the third.
Wisconsin (20-10) rallied to tie the game in the fourth. Zavier Warren walked to start the inning and stole second. Peters cracked his first triple of the night to score Warren. Then, Wes Clarke knocked in Peters with a sacrifice fly and the score was even.
The Timber Rattlers went in front in the top of the fifth. Alex Hall and Ethan Murray singled with one out. Black was next, and his check-swing roller to third went for an infield hit. The throw to first was wild and that allowed Hall to score from second base with the go-ahead run.
Justin Jarvis was the Wisconsin starting pitcher and he allowed two runs on six hits with six strikeouts over five innings.
The Rattlers offense pulled away with three runs in the seventh and four runs in the eighth to take a commanding 10-2 lead.
In the seventh, Carlos Rodríguez and Micah Bello drew walks to start the inning. Ethan Murray followed with a double to score Rodríguez and get Bello to third. Bello scored moments later when there was a wild pitch. Black would drive in Murray with a sacrifice fly for the final run of the inning.
Peters started the eighth inning with his second triple of the game. He went 3-for-5, scored twice, drove in one run, and extended his current on-base streak to twenty games. Then, Clarke drove in Peters with a popup to short right that dropped in for a single. A double by Rodríguez and a walk to Hall loaded the bases. Black unloaded them with a triple to right and Wisconsin was up 10-2.
Robbie Baker was the first Wisconsin reliever out of the bullpen, and he tossed 2-2/3 scoreless innings with three strikeouts. Brady Schanuel got the final out of the eighth and pitched a perfect ninth to close out the win.
This win gave Wisconsin its first six-game winning streak since June 5 through June 10, 2018. This win also pushed Wisconsin to ten games over .500 for the first time since they were 66-56 after a win on August 13, 2014.

The River Bandits have named Patrick Halligan (0-1, 10.80) as their starter. Game time is 6:30pm with the radio broadcast on AM1280, WNAM and internet audio starting at 6:10pm.
