The first-place Curve (32-26) have dropped two straight games, and committed their first error in five games in the loss to Richmond (25-34).
Tied 1-1 after the first inning, Altoona fell behind after Richmond scored a run in both the second and third innings, before exploding for four runs in the fifth.

Altoona's only run of the night came in the first inning when Jin-de Jhang collected his first RBI of the season, driving home
Jhang went 3-for-4 on Friday, collecting his first three-hit game of the season.
McRae pitched 5.2 innings and allowed a season-high eight runs (seven earned).

Altoona will continue their series against Richmond on Saturday with a double-header. The Curve will send right-hander
Saturday will feature post-game Beatles-themed Fireworks, presented by US Foods. Kids will be able to run the bases after the game and it's also Scout Night and Big Brothers/Big Sisters Night at the ballpark.
