Hurricane Relief Supply DRIVE-THRU at SRP Park

Anyone in CSRA invited to come from 10-1 to get supplies

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC – The Augusta GreenJackets are excited to announce a Hurricane Relief Supply Drive-Thru at SRP Park on Saturday, October 12^th from 10am – 1pm or while supplies last. The South Carolina Minor League Baseball community has come together as the Charleston RiverDogs, Columbia Fireflies, Greenville Drive & Myrtle Beach Pelican have been hosting Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief Supply Drives this week in support of both the Augusta and Asheville Communities. Thanks to their generosity we will have a tractor trailer full of donations to be given out while supplies last.

The Hurricane Relief Supply Drive-Thru will be set up by the Clubhouse Entrance of SRP Park (187 Railroad Avenue, North Augusta SC 29841) for folks to pick-up. Signage will be set up to direct you down Center Street as you enter Riverside Village for the driv-thru giveaway.

- Kids items (diapers, baby food)

- Pet Food

“Seeing our fellow Minor League Baseball Communities comes together in support of the CSRA and Asheville Communities is overwhelming,” stated GreenJackets Vice President Tom Denlinger. “Our front office staff looks forward to seeing you on the 12^th and invite you to spread the word to those that are in need to swing by.”

The Community is also invited to come out to SRP Park on 10/12 & 10/13 for the Annual Complete Game Fall Classic Tournament. Games start each day at 9am. Daily Admission is $15, 10 and under are FREE, and gets you entrance to any of the tournament games at SRP Park, Passmore Field at Augusta Christian School & Verdery Field at EDS. As part of tournament the community is invited to stuff the bins by the main entrance of SRP Park with Canned Food for Golden Harvest Food Bank. Concessions will be open at SRP Park serving your ballpark favorites throughout the event.
