Gilbert Gómez - Manager

- Spent the 2019 and 2021 campaigns as the bench coach for Single-A Columbia and the Florida Complex League Mets, respectively.
- Served as hitting coach for the Dominican Summer League Mets2 squad in 2018.

Eduardo Núñez - Hitting Coach
- Begins his fifth season in the organization and his first in Brooklyn.
- Spent the 2023 campaign as the hitting coach on manager Gilbert Gómez’s Single-A St. Lucie staff.
- Served as hitting coach for the Florida Complex League Mets and Dominican Summer League Mets2 in 2022 and 2021, respectively...Joined the Mets’ organization during the 2020 season as a video intern.
- Was the video coordinator and analytics assistant for Team Puerto Rico during the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
- During the winter, serves as third base and infield coach with Gigantes de Carolina in the Puerto Rican Winter League (LBPRC).
- Selected by the Montréal Expos in the 18th round of the 2003 MLB Draft out of the American Military Academy in Guaynabo, P.R.
- Spent four seasons in the Expos, Washington Nationals, and Kansas City Royals organizations...Registered a slash line of .209/.308/.286 with a .594 OPS in 145 games...Reached as high as the South Atlantic League’s Single-A Savannah in 2004 and 2005.
- Resides in Puerto Rico with his wife, Vanessa López, and their two daughters, Viveca and Vianna.
Dan McKinney - Pitching Coach
- Begins his second year with the Mets and his first in Brooklyn.
- Served as pitching coach on manager Gilbert Gómez’s Single-A St. Lucie staff during the 2023 season.
- Joined the organization after spending 2022 as the pitching coach at Southeast Missouri State University...Helped guide SEMU to an Ohio Valley Conference championship and NCAA Tournament berth.
- Was an assistant coach at Oakland University in 2021 after two years as pitching coach at Akron University (2019-20).
- Served as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- Attended the University of Michigan on a baseball scholarship, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
John Vaughn - Bench Coach
- Is in his fourth season with the Mets and his second as Brooklyn’s bench coach.
- Before 2023, spent the previous two seasons at Double-A Binghamton as a player development associate in 2021 and as a minor league analytics associate in 2022.
- Earned his master’s in Sport Management from St. John’s University in 2020 while volunteering in a baseball data and video operations role with the baseball program.
- Worked at MLB in their Pitchcast/Statcast department in 2019 and 2020.
- Began his career in baseball as the clubhouse manager for the Double-A Eastern League’s New Britain Rock Cats from 2010-13.
- Was a four-year starter and two-time captain of the baseball team at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass.
- Resides in New York City with his wife, Alaina, and their sons, Grady and Samuel.
Regan Saulnier - Development Coach
- Enters her second year in the Mets’ farm system and first on Coney Island...Becomes the first female to serve as a full-time uniformed coach in Cyclones’ franchise history.
- Spent the 2023 season as the development coach for manager Gilbert Gómez at Single-A St. Lucie.
- Served as a game-planning strategist for the Los Angeles Angels during the 2022 campaign.
- Started her professional baseball career as a minor league video and technology intern with the Minnesota Twins (2019-20) and Cincinnati Reds (2021).
- Spent four years as a promotional team member and production intern with the South Atlantic League’s Greenville Drive between 2013-17.
- Graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2019 with a degree in Sports and Entertainment Management.
