Snappers squeeze past Kernels

BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit Snappers executed a safety squeeze bunt in the eighth inning to down the Kernels 3-2 at Pohlman Field on Sunday afternoon. The regular season finale is tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.

The two teams wrap up the regular season in Beloit tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The Kernels have not announced officially announced a starting pitcher while Beloit will start RHP
Cedar Rapids opens up the 2017 Midwest League playoffs at home on Wednesday night against the Kane County Cougars, the Midwest League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. First pitch of the best of three series is at 6:35 p.m. Game two and three, if necessary, will be played at Kane County.
