Durham Bulls

Affiliate: Tampa Bay Rays
Result: 77-43 regular season, Triple-A Final Stretch Champs

Winning the Triple-A East regular season title as well the Final Stretch, the Bulls were unquestionably the best team at the Minors' highest level. Durham finished four games ahead of Tacoma in the Triple-A standings and won its first nine games to clinch the Final Stretch's best record before even playing the 10th and final game. After allowing 3.8 runs per game during the regular season, the Bulls' pitching staff went into lockdown mode during the Final Stretch, allowing 14 runs during the 10-game span, including three shutouts.

Akron RubberDucks

Affiliate: Cleveland Indians
Result: 73-46, Double-A Northeast Champions

Akron started hot after taking the field in early May, winning its first six games by a combined score of 36-11 and going 16-7 on the month. After a 12-14 June, however, the RubberDucks finished over .500 in every month for the rest of the season, winning 45 of their final 70 games to earn a playoff spot by one game over Somerset, who they needed to beat each of the final two days of the season. Riding that momentum into the playoffs, the RubberDucks capped their impressive campaign with a 3-0 sweep of Bowie to win the Double-A Northeast title.

Quad Cities River Bandits

Affiliate: Kansas City Royals
Result: 77-41, High-A Central Champions

The River Bandits enjoyed a remarkably consistent campaign in 2021, winning at least 15 games in each of the first four months of the season and going 17-8 in June, 18-9 in July and 17-9 in August. Quad Cities finished 11 games ahead of West Division foe Cedar Rapids but found itself in a 2-1 series hole entering Game 4 of the playoffs. Logan Porter's walk-off home run to lead off the bottom of the ninth forced a Game 5, and Porter drove in the first run of Game 5 to put the River Bandits up for good in an eventual 5-0 victory to win the High-A title.

Bowling Green Hot Rods

Affiliate: Tampa Bay Rays
Result: 82-36, High-A East Champions

Bowling Green won its first four games of the season and nine of its first 12 to race out of the gates, and a combined 41-12 record in June and July -- which included an 11-game winning streak -- put the Hot Rods 33 games above. 500 through 77 games. Despite the hot start and strong finish (13-3 in September), Bowling Green found itself in a 2-1 hole to Greensboro in the High-A playoffs, but the South Division champions won Games 4 and 5 at Bowling Green Ballpark to win the title and cement their status as one of the Minors' top teams in 2021.

Charleston RiverDogs

Affiliate: Tampa Bay Rays
Result: 82-38, Low-A East Champions

Like fellow Rays affiliate Bowling Green, Charleston rode a strong two-month stretch in June and July (39-13 record) to a near-.700 winning percentage on the season. Unlike the Hot Rods, however, the RiverDogs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in their playoff series against Down East, which had just taken four of six games from Charleston in the season's final series. The Wood Ducks didn't go quietly, winning Games 3 and 4 in Charleston, but the RiverDogs opened up a 9-0 lead in Game 5 on their way to a 9-2 victory and a Low-A East title.
