Taj Bradley

Season stats: 12-3, 1.83 ERA, 123 strikeouts, 31 walks, 22 starts (103 1/3 innings)

After a rough first outing in which he gave up five runs at Low-A Charleston, Taj Bradley allowed more than one earned run just twice in his next 14 starts -- including a five-start winning streak from June 30 through July 23 -- before his promotion to High-A Bowling Green. Tampa's sixth-ranked prospect continued to suppress runs with the Hot Rods, allowing more than one earned run in an outing only twice in eight starts, including his final five outings.

Season stats: 7-9, 3.36 ERA, 175 strikeouts, 60 walks, 24 starts (123 1/3 innings)

The Minor League leader in strikeouts, Cade Cavalli came out of the gates hot at High-A Wilmington. The 2020 first-round pick and Nats top prospect struck out at least seven batters in his first seven starts, including 15 over seven no-hit innings against Jersey Shore on June 12, his last start with the Blue Rocks. At Double-A Harrisburg he went 3-3, struck out 80 in 58 innings and whiffed fewer than six batters only twice in 11 outings.

Caleb Kilian

Season stats: 7-4, 2.42 ERA, 112 strikeouts, 13 walks, 19 starts (100 1/3 innings)

After a 2019 debut in which he didn't allow a run over 16 innings, Caleb Kilian's encore has been well worth the extra-year wait. He allowed just nine hits in 21 innings at High-A Eugene to start the season and quickly climbed to Double-A Richmond, where he went 3-2 with a 2.43 ERA, 64 strikeouts and eight walks in 63 innings, boosting his profile and becoming a key piece of the Cubs' return in July's Kris Bryant trade.

Season stats: 9-1, 2.36 ERA, 161 strikeouts, 27 walks, 23 starts (103 innings)

Quickly proving too advanced for High-A, 21-year-old Grayson Rodriguez went 3-0 with a 1.54 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 40-to-5 strikeout-to-walk ratio at Aberdeen to earn a June promotion to Double-A Bowie. MLB.com's No. 8 prospect continued his winning ways with the Baysox, going 6-1 with a 2.60 ERA and striking out 121 batters in 79 2/3 innings to become the only starting pitcher in the Minors to reach 100 innings and strike out 14 batters per nine innings.

Season stats: 5-4, 2.06 ERA, 113 strikeouts, 13 walks, 17 starts (78 2/3 innings)

After walking the first batter he faced at Double-A Montgomery this season, Shane Baz struck out 19 batters before his next walk, which came three starts and 17 days later. After consecutive scoreless outings to begin the month of June, the Rays promoted MLB.com's No. 20 prospect to Triple-A Durham, where he allowed one earned run or fewer in each of his first four starts and nine of 10 before earning a call to the Majors in mid-September.
