The Royals started their No. 4 prospect at Double-A Northwest Arkansas this season after he finished 2019 at High-A Wilmington, and MJ Melendez responded with a .285/.372/.628 batting line, 28 homers and 65 RBIs in 78 games to earn a promotion to Triple-A Omaha. Melendez recorded a .293/.413/.620 batting line with 13 homers and 38 RBIs in 44 games for the Storm Chasers and ended the year as the Minor League home run king.

The No. 30 overall pick of the 2019 Draft, top Yankees prospect Anthony Volpe has skyrocketed into the top 15 of MLB.com's rankings after a monster 2021 campaign. In his first full season, Volpe hit .302/.455/.623 with 12 homers, 49 RBIs, 56 runs scored and 21 stolen bases in 54 games at Low-A Tampa to earn a promotion to High-A Hudson Valley, where he batted .286/.391/.587 with 15 homers, 57 runs, 37 RBIs and 12 steals in 55 games.

In his full-season debut, Bobby Witt Jr. skipped two levels and started his age-20 season at Double-A Northwest Arkansas, where he batted .295/.369/.570 with 16 home runs, 51 RBIs and 14 stolen bases in 61 games. Just over a month after his 21st birthday, MLB.com's third-ranked prospect was promoted to Triple-A Omaha and produced similarly strong numbers: .285/.352/.581 with 17 homers, 46 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in 51 games.

José Marmolejos started the season in the Majors and didn't begin his Triple-A West MVP campaign with Tacoma until late May. The 28-year-old was an offensive force in 78 games with the Rainiers, never hitting worse than .333 or fewer than six homers in any of his three full months in the Minors. Marmolejos also ranked in the league's top 10 in homers and RBIs despite missing nearly a month of action.

Julio Rodriguez didn't need much time at High-A Everett to prove he was fully recovered from his 2020 broken wrist, batting .325/.410/.581 with six homers, 28 RBIs and five steals in 28 games. After a promotion to Double-A Arkansas, MLB.com's No. 2 prospect batted .362/.461/.546 with seven long balls, 26 RBIs and 16 swipes in 46 games -- numbers that would've been even better if he didn't miss a month while representing the Dominican Republic in the Olympics.
