FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 18, 2024) - The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels will be streamlining the payment process at the Lee Health Sports Complex, and will begin rolling out changes to become a cashless facility in 2025. This will affect food and beverage, merchandise, parking and ticketing. It is the club's intention to complete the transition to completely cashless payments by January 1, 2025.
Starting with the Mussels' next home game on July 30, cash will only be accepted at a limited number of locations throughout the stadium, which will be indicated by signs at the point of sale. All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) will be accepted. Google Pay and Apple Pay will be accepted at concession stands and the team store.
The Lee Health Sport Complex will join stadiums and ballparks around the country with eliminating cash transactions in order to reduce wait times and provide faster service throughout the park.
