Frisco to host Sod Poodles for a week featuring an Evan Carter kids jersey giveaway, UFO night, Mutt Cutts night, NASCAR night and Father’s Day
FRISCO, Texas (June 5, 2024) – The Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A affiliate of the World Series champion Texas Rangers, return home for their fifth homestand of the season for a stacked week full of promotional events spanning from Tuesday, June 11th through Sunday, June 16th against the Diamondbacks-affiliated Amarillo Sod Poodles.

Additionally, the RoughRiders will take the field as the Dallas Black Giants in tribute to the Negro Leagues team of the 1920's. Students from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters will be on hand with jazz performances and more ahead of the 7th Annual Riverfront Jazz Festival. The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and the 2022 Texas League champions.
