Salute to Service
The Iowa Cubs and Central Iowa Mechanical are proud to pay tribute to our nation's and community's military service, law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders all season long at Principal Park in our "Salute to Service" program.
Prior to the National Anthem, one local service man or woman, law enforcement member, firefighter, or first responder will be recognized on the field, the video board, and stadium PA system for their service. The honoree will stand on the field for the National Anthem.
To nominate your service woman or man, law enforcement member, firefighter, or first responder by completing the application below.
Applications will be considered on a "first-come, first-serve" basis.
Donation Requests
Giving back to the community that has supported Des Moines baseball through 50 seasons is a priority for the Iowa Cubs. We work with non-profit groups, schools, community organizations and others each season to provide donations of tickets, mascot appearances, etc.
