In a rematch of the 2017 Southern League South Division Championship Series, the Jumbo Shrimp (9-11) tallied 16 total hits - led by four from second baseman Isan Díaz and three by center fielder Monte Harrison, who both came within a triple of the cycle - in the first walk-off win for Jacksonville this season.

Both teams scored in each of the first three innings. The Blue Wahoos (9-12) took the lead with a three-run first inning against Jumbo Shrimp right-hander Brandon Barker, but Jacksonville (9-11) answered against right-hander Daniel Wright, with two runs in the bottom of the inning, including Harrison's first Double-A home run out of the ballpark to left field. After Pensacola extended the lead to 4-2 in the second inning, Jacksonville rallied for three runs, including third baseman Brian Schales's first Double-A home run, and left fielder Austin Dean's RBI double for a 5-4 lead. Jacksonville right-hander Esmerling De La Rosa allowed three third-inning runs, including two on a two-out error by shortstop Mason Davis for a 7-5 Blue Wahoos lead. In the bottom of the inning, Davis hit an RBI triple, and Diaz hit a game-tying double.

A 7-7 tie remained until the bottom of the sixth inning, when Diaz homered to left field off Pensacola right-hander Evan Mitchell. In the next half inning, Blue Wahoos left fielder Brian O'Grady hit a game-tying home run - the only run in three innings against Jacksonville right-hander Jose Pena. Diaz gave Jacksonville another lead with a seventh-inning, two-out RBI single off left-hander Victor Payano. In the ninth inning, Jacksonville left-hander Jeff Kinley (1-0) threw a two-out wild pitch to score the tying run. In the bottom half, Pensacola right-hander Alex Powers (0-1) hit Othman, Schales put down a sacrifice bunt, Davis was intentionally walked, and Barrett lined the game-winning double to left field.
UP NEXT: The Jumbo Shrimp continue their series with Pensacola at 7:05 p.m. Friday, when Jacksonville right-hander Pablo López (0-0) is scheduled to face Blue Wahoos right-hander Keury Mella (2-0).
