The BlueClaws (3-3/38-33) have dropped two straight after taking the series opener.
Brooklyn got on the board quickly, with Kevin Parada homering in the bottom of the first off Gunner Mayer. It was Parada's eighth home run of the season.
The Cyclones scored three more times in the second inning to push their lead to 4-0. Drake Osborn walked with the bases loaded for the first run in the inning. A SAC fly from Cesar Berbesi made it 3-0 and Alex Ramirez then doubled home Rhylan Thomas to give Brooklyn a 4-0 lead.
The BlueClaws got on the board in the fifth on a solo home run by Anthony Quirion. It was his second of the season and first since returning from the Injured List on Wednesday.
Stanley Consuegra added a home run off Orion Kerkering in the bottom of the eighth.
Justin Dallas threw 2.1 scoreless innings in relief of Mayer (1-4), who lasted 1.2 innings.
The teams continue their series on Saturday night at 6:00 pm. LHP Rafael Marcano starts for the BlueClaws.
