ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists began the second half of the season with an 11-3 victory over the Winston-Salem Dash. John Garcia recorded his third multi-Homer game in the last 11 days and Luis Baez blasted his 10th Home Run of the season in Asheville’s convincing win.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Greensboro Grasshoppers 11-6 in the series opener Tuesday night. Asheville kept the pressure on throughout the game despite falling into an early hole. In the end, the Grasshoppers made enough plays to win the game.

HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists scored six runs in the final two innings on Tuesday night to erase a three-run deficit and defeat the Hickory Crawdads 8-5. The victory was Asheville’s fourth straight — a new season high.
Emperors Take Series Opener from Tourists 11-1
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists did not begin their seven-game homestand the way they had hoped. Asheville dropped the Education Day afternoon contest to the Rome Emperors by a final score of 11-1. It is the first time this season the Tourists have lost a game by double-digits.
Cerny Hits Fifth Homer, Drives In Three
WINSTON-SALEM- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Winston-Salem Dash 9-4 on Wednesday night that snapped a stretch of back-to-back road wins. Asheville plated the game’s first run but Winston-Salem reeled off seven unanswered. The series is now knotted up at one game apiece.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists lost a tough one to the Rome Emperors Friday night, 14-11. Asheville built an early 2-0 lead before Rome scored 12 straight runs to blow the game open. The Tourists then rallied for nine runs over the final three innings but ultimately fell short.
Cyclones Snag Two from the Tourists in Double-Header
BROOKLYN- The Asheville Tourists dropped a pair of contests to the Brooklyn Cyclones on Saturday. The Tourists fell in Game One, 6-2, then came up short in the nightcap, 3-1. Asheville did not hold a lead at any point during the two games.
