ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists ran into a pair of Bowling Green Hot Rods pitchers Friday night that were nearly unhittable. The duo, both acquired at the trade deadline, held the Tourists to one run on two hits. Asheville ended up dropping the evening contest by a final score of 7-1.

ASHEVILLE- Edinson Batista and Jackson Nezuh were on their game Saturday night. The Asheville Tourists duo combined for nine innings, one run, and 13 strikeouts. GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists shutout the Greensboro Grasshoppers 7-0 on Sunday afternoon for their third shutout victory of the season. Jackson Nezuh, Franny Cobos, and Edinson Batista combined to pitch the nine-inning shutout and give the Tourists a four-games-to-two series victory in the process.

ASHEVILLE- The Aberdeen IronBirds dealt the Asheville Tourists a 12-2 loss on Tuesday night in the teams’ series opener at McCormick Field. Asheville hung tough early and executed their game plan; however, Aberdeen took advantage of a few Tourists miscues and pulled away for the win.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists notched their second straight one run victory over the Greensboro Grasshoppers with a 4-3 win on Saturday night. It was also the Tourists second consecutive sellout crowd on hand to see the home team come out on top.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Rome Emperors in a pair of contests on Sunday afternoon. Asheville used a Logan Cerny three-run walk-off Home Run to win Game One 7-6; then exploded offensively, built a big lead, and cruised in Game Two, 9-4.

WINSTON-SALEM- The Asheville Tourists dropped Sunday’s series finale to the Winston-Salem Dash 5-4 in ten innings. It was the second extra-inning game of the week for the Tourists who showed great resolve and fight throughout the series.

WINSTON-SALEM- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Winston-Salem Dash 6-5 in 11 innings on Tuesday morning. Asheville never trailed thanks to timely hitting and quality pitching throughout the contest. BROOKLYN- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones 7-1 on Friday night thanks in large part to a six-run first inning and a stellar pitching performance from Edinson Batista and Andrew Taylor. The victory improved Asheville’s early season record to 4-2.

ASHEVILLE- Opening Night at McCormick Field showcased the Asheville Tourists and the Winston-Salem Dash on a chilly evening. The Tourists bats were anything but chilly. Asheville scored 14 runs to put away Winston-Salem 14-5 and begin the 2024 season on a high note.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Greenville Drive 6-1 on Thursday night. Asheville fell behind early and never were able to mount a rally against Greenville’s pitching staff. The Drive limited the Tourists to only one run and it came on a solo Homer by Tim Borden II.

HICKORY- The Asheville Tourists overcame a six-run deficit to defeat the Hickory Crawdads in extra innings on Thursday night by a final score of 12-9. Asheville pounded out a season-high 23 hits and stunned the Crawdads home crowd with a thrilling Game Three victory.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists defeated the Greensboro Grasshoppers 9-7 on Friday night for their fifth consecutive victory. The Tourists held a 6-1 lead before the Grasshoppers rallied to tie the game late. Asheville bounced back with one final rally and picked up the win.

ROME- The Asheville Tourists evened up their current series with the Rome Braves at two games apiece with a 6-2 victory at AdventHealth Stadium on Friday night.
