Asheville Deals Greensboro a Shutout to Win the Series
GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists shutout the Greensboro Grasshoppers 7-0 on Sunday afternoon for their third shutout victory of the season. Jackson Nezuh, Franny Cobos, and Edinson Batista combined to pitch the nine-inning shutout and give the Tourists a four-games-to-two series victory in the process.

WINSTON-SALEM- The Asheville Tourists played a pair of close games against the Winston-Salem Dash on Sunday afternoon. Winston-Salem finished out the brief three-game set with a double-header sweep of Asheville. The Dash took Game One, 5-2, and hung on in Game Two, 4-3.
True Brings the Heat but Tourists Fall 12-3
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists dropped their second straight to the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 12-3 on Wednesday night. The Tourists fell behind big early on but held the Grasshoppers to only two runs over the game’s final five innings.
Pitching Staff Strikes Out Season-High 17 in 11-6 Loss
ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists fell to the Greensboro Grasshoppers 11-6 in the series opener Tuesday night. Asheville kept the pressure on throughout the game despite falling into an early hole. In the end, the Grasshoppers made enough plays to win the game.
