Brendan King will begin his 6th full season with the South Bend Cubs in 2025 after returning to the club in 2022. In 2021 he was the #2 announcer for the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians. Brendan called the 574 home for the 2018 and 2019 seasons, working with the team as a broadcaster and media relations assistant. He was on the call for the club's 2019 and 2022 Midwest League Championships.
A 2017 graduate of Butler University, BK spends the baseball off-season's with the local ESPN Radio affiliate in Indy, 93.5 and 107.5 The Fan. With The Fan, King has worked his way up since serving as an intern on The Dan Dakich Show in 2016. Now on-air with the station, Brendan was named the radio studio host for the 2021 NCAA Tournament in Indy, as well as for the Indianapolis 500. King also works with Fox Sports, broadcasting Big East Athletics through the Big East Digital Network.
As a native of the Chicago suburbs, BK has a passion for the Cubs organization, and everything about both Wrigley and Four Winds Field. He is thrilled to be back and looks forward to bringing the great South Bend Cubs fans coverage of some of the top prospects in the system all season long.
