A one hour and 45-minute rain delay that started in the top of the seventh ended up being baseball's executioner Thursday as the Travelers topped the Cardinals 5-1 in a game called official with a runner on and no one out in the top of the seventh.

The Travelers win pulled them back even with Northwest Arkansas atop the Texas League North after the Naturals fell 5-2 to the Drillers in Tulsa on Thursday.
Springfield remains in the same position it was in when the day started as the Cardinals remain one game out of first, now behind the Naturals and Travelers.
Tulsa is two games behind Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas and a game behind Springfield.
Four games remain in the 1st Half for all teams with two for Springfield coming against Arkansas and two against Tulsa.
