Medical Staff

Dr. Lintner is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports related knee and shoulder injuries as well as elbow reconstruction. In addition to the Space Cowboys, he currently serves as team medical director for the Houston Astros, assistant team orthopedist for the Houston Texans, and team physician for Lee College and Houston Independent School District. Additionally, Dr. Lintner is a former president of Major League Baseball's Team Physician Association.

Dr. Lintner is the founder and Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship training program at the Houston Methodist Hospital. He has been recognized numerous times as one of U.S. News & World Report's 'Best Doctors in America,' and by Texas Monthly as a 'Super Doctor.'

Dr. Jack is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine physician. He completed his residency at Houston Methodist Hospital and went on to pursue a fellowship in sports medicine at The Rothman Orthopaedic Institute at Thomas Jefferson University. He has provided care for elite level athletes including the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and multiple textbook chapters on topics in sports medicine. His clinical and research interests include the shoulder and elbow of the overhead athlete, ligament injuries of the knee, and cartilage restoration. He currently serves as a team physician for the Sugar Land Space Cowboys (AAA Affiliate of the Houston Astros) and Rice University Athletics.

Dr. Borque is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports-related knee and shoulder injuries, reconstruction, and replacement. He currently serves as a staff physician for the U.S. Soccer team, and team orthopedic physician for the Sugar Land Space Cowboys. "Through a personalized, minimally invasive treatment plan and a joint commitment, I believe my patients can get back to their active lifestyle. Using my expertise in working with many professional athletes, I am able to treat my patients with the highest level of care using the most up-to-date non-surgical and surgical techniques."

Since 1996, Dr. Braunreiter has actively participated in the treatment of medical and orthopedic conditions and is dual-certified in both sports medicine and family medicine. Dr. Braunreiter has served as a team physician for the Houston Dynamo, Houston Texans, Houston Aeros, and the University of Houston. He has also helped develop the Major League Soccer concussion return-to-play protocol as a member of the league’s committee and is also a consultant for several school districts’ Concussion Oversight Teams. Dr. Braunreiter is excited to have the opportunity to work alongside his team of Houston Methodist colleagues to provide care to the Sugar Land Space Cowboys.

Dr. Davlapur is a board-certified primary care sports medicine physician and completed his residency/fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. He has previously worked with all the pro teams in the OKC area while training before moving back home to Sugar Land. He specializes in complex diagnostic/therapeutic ultrasound based orthopedic interventions with a special interest in orthobiologics and concussion management. He currently serves as the team physician for the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, Houston Christian University, North American University, and LCISD. He is a team USA boxing physician. He is a certified ringside physician who has and continues to cover major pro MMA/boxing events including UFC, Top Rank, Showtime Boxing, DAZN, UFC Fight Pass-Fury FC, Golden Boy Boxing and many others sponsored by TDLR. His personal motto is a simple one “Dream Big, Work Hard”. He loves to teach and as core faculty with two different Houston area medical schools frequently has residents, fellows and students with him.
