2021 Season Schedule Released
TAMPA, FL - The Tampa Tarpons have announced their schedule for the 2021 Southeast League season (formally Florida State League). The season will consist of 120 games, including 60 home games and 60 road games. Each Monday will be a league-wide off day, and no league playoffs will be held.
TAMPA, FL - The Tampa Tarpons have announced their schedule for the 2021 Southeast League season (formally Florida State League). The season will consist of 120 games, including 60 home games and 60 road games. Each Monday will be a league-wide off day, and no league playoffs will be held. The Tarpons are set to open the season and host the Dunedin Blue Jays in a six game series at George M. Steinbrenner Field on Tuesday, May 4th.

The Tarpons will compete in the West Division with the Bradenton Marauders (Pittsburg Pirates), Clearwater Threshers (Philadelphia Phillies), Dunedin Blue Jays (Toronto Blue Jays), Fort Myers Mighty Mussels (Minnesota Twins), and the Lakeland Flying Tigers (Detroit Tigers). Facing Clearwater, Dunedin, and Lakeland 24 times each, while playing Bradenton and Ft. Myers 12 times each.
The remaining 24 games will be played against East Division teams, including the Jupiter Hammerheads (Miami Marlins), Palm Beach Cardinals (St. Luis Cardinals) and the St. Lucie Mets (New York Mets). The Daytona Tortugas (Cincinnati Reds) are also in the East Division but will not play Tampa during the 2021 season.
