ABERDEEN, MD (July 2, 2021) – Brooklyn jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but needed to hold off a late inning rally from the IronBirds to hold on for a 6-5 win on Friday night in Aberdeen. The two teams combined to go 6-for-27 with runners in scoring position and struck out 29 times in the game that lasted 3:56 minutes.

  • Luke Ritter got things started for the Brooklyn bats with a two-out, two-RBI single in the top of the first. Ritter now has 28 RBI in road games, and 3 RBI at Maimonides Park.
