- Jeremy Vasquez launched a sacrifice fly to left field in the eighth inning, scoring Edgardo Fermin from third base to give Brooklyn a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the eighth.
- Colby Morris and Michel Otanez tossed four scoreless innings to shut down the BlueClaws. Otanez worked two scoreless innings to earn the win, stranding two on in the ninth for the victory.
- Jaison Vilera put together his most impressive performance of the season, firing five scoreless innings on just 58 pitches. Vilera struck out three and walked one, getting out of big trouble in the fifth with runners at first and third and one out.

- Manager Ed Blankmeyer missed Tuesday’s game due to a one-game suspension as a result of Sunday’s ejection in Hudson Valley.
