  • Wilmington starting pitcher Evan Lee, the No. 30 prospect in the Washington Nationals system, struck out eight Cyclones over five scoreless innings. The southpaw faced two over the minimum and finished his outing retiring 12 batters in a row. Brooklyn starter Luc Rennie allowed just one run on three hits over 5 2/3 innings, striking out four in the tough-luck loss.
